About
Campbelltown City Council (Council) with Tonkin is preparing the transport plan with ideas about transport issues and solutions from the stakeholders, residents in the suburbs of Campbelltown, Paradise, Newton and Athelstone, as shown on the study area map. This transport plan will consider the opportunities and limitations of the streets and roads, the bus network and the difficulties for pedestrians and cyclists from an access and road safety perspective, as well as parking in local streets and areas at shopping precincts, schools and parks and reserves.
This survey is part of the community consultation to develop a comprehensive local area transport plan with actions for Council to consider for implementation. The Council is considering an integrated transport approach that meets the needs of pedestrians, cyclists, motorists, and public transport users.
The study will consider your comments, as well as evidence-based speed and traffic volume statistics, to develop a transport plan for the Northern section. The Transport Plan will be similar to the Campbelltown (Southern Section) Transport Plan for the suburbs south of Montacute Road that was adopted by Council in November 2020.

This will enable the Council to improve the safety and liveability of the local street network in a strategic and prioritised program.
